Got lucky, was not bad at all, although there’s a lack of feeling I belong
Facking horrendous
I personally didn't onboard during wfh but some people in my team and sister team did, including new grads. It's woeful. Horrible.
Better than my in person onboarding at the last place
It feels awful. Colleagues are great and getting up to speed isn't too terrible (still noticeably worse than onboarding in person) but there's a feeling of disconnect between me, the company, culture, and (to a lesser degree) the team. For clarity, I'm not describing MSFT; left for a different company. Experience at MSFT for remote onboarding varies by team.
Twitter was a breeze.
