Their "high performance network" plan is by far the worst insurance plan I've ever used, or haven't used should say. It was about $10 cheaper per month then the plan that would have let me keep my usual doctor and typical coverage. With better coverage as well supposedly. I should have just paid the extra $10. Turns out, literally no providers in the state even accept it. They all have like 2-3 star ratings too. The closest doctor is 20 miles away from me. Like in a 60 or so mile radius, there's like 40 providers. 40. Fuck.
Do you mind sharing the plan code and area? I have the same insurance.
Location? Non-urban Texas, by any chance? (friend had a similar scenario with BCBS “premium”)

You should have researched this **before** choosing which plan. I always spend 4-8 work hours doing my research whenever I get a new job.
Yeah I know. I researched every plan, didn't think about who would even accept it. Just assumed like a dumbass Literally the first time I didn't do it.
Looking at who accepts the plan is part of the research. Plans’ websites have tools for that kind of stuff.
