I got tons of ads from them. decided to give it a try. I passed their initial assessment and now they want me to do an Interview with them. I schedule a training Interview to see how it is, but was wondering if anyone has used them or knows about them. TC: 110k
Was accepted back when they were first getting started. It's how I broke into West coast tech. Dunno if I would make it today, the interview process was kind of unfinished at the time. My advice is work how you would at a job, have all your tools ready to go, talk a LOT, and show them you're into tech as more than a job. Have some weird exciting things ready to talk about. I talked about geomipmapping for rendering 3d terrain. If you're someone who only codes at home to leetcode for fang prep you might have a hard time, otoh it might not be like that anymore.
Where were you from b4 west coast tech. I am also far from West coast tech and want to break into
Was in Florida at the time, but I'm from Dallas originally
I was accepted recently. It was pretty easy and managed really well. I ended up getting a better offer outside of triplebyte that I accepted, but would definitely do triplebyte again.
they gave me really good merch
I passed the test, none of the companies called me. Total waste of time.
do you have any idea why not? I'm concerned the same thing is about to happen to me lol
I am not really too sure. Even though I passed the test, I heard they will still write about your performance. Some possible reasons: I didn’t exactly aced the interview. I am current not in US. My profile isn’t too strong.(but why else would I need them)I am a junior swe. Dm me if you need more info
Using it right now, got 9 calls and 3 onsites. It's not magic, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
How were those on sites? Do you think they were worth it your time?
I will let you know after I do them lol. They are scheduled for after July 22
Thought I did well but was duly rejected. I got calls from companies that r tied to triplebyte directly though. So not sure how useful they would have been
By the way, if you do well on the "practice interview," they'll pass you anyway!
And if you don't pass, they give really good feedback. The final one is the exact same interview so it's pretty easy to study for. Win-win!
Yeah I thought they would do that. So I schedule the practice one to have a second shot in case I fail.
I used it. Very wide range questions they quiz on. Every interview is the same so you can pretty easily find the questions online. I thought I did well but was rejected.
