Curious on their corporate culture, benefits, employee satisfaction, etc. Have a pretty good idea of comp from the recruiter. TC 190, 7 YOE Chicago
I got a low ball offer. 10% bonus paid out quarterly. Mid $120k's - I told them my total comp range should be in $150k's. They over sold the chance to grow - turned them down due to low ball. Benefits are trash. $460 per pay period for PPO for 2 people. Company pays about $100. Glassdoor reviews are trash too.
What type of role if you don’t mind my asking?
I work for a company purchased by GR and we have adopted many things GR. We have had variable pays cut(after promises that no pay will be cut) and health insurance cost increased. Micromanagement increased. End of year bonuses were non existant. Run away.
Bumping. I got an offer from them as well and want to know more about wlb and culture. Benefits seem awful. They are aggressively hiring - why are they having a hard time?
Anyone working at GR as a SWE doing Clj development? Checking to see if you are hiring these days.
In my experience they churn through people in 8-18mo. For nearly all teams. Mortgage processors, recruiting, technology. Pay was great. Benefits were shite. They have an excellent onboarding *and* off boarding process. Ruthlessly fast and efficient. Build on the backs of thousands of new hires and “lay offs”. They are ruthless and indecisive. Lots of fiefdoms with territorial lords. Every rule perfectly calculated to suck the most they can out of you and protecting them. Ask to read the employee handbook before you sign.
Stay far far away. It’s a dumpster fire and ultimately a terrible place to work.
I turned down an offer from them recently. Benefits were pretty trash and no bonus made it a no go for me
Yikes no bonus?
