Apple HR is bad
Applied to a position in apple with a referral. HR sent an email to check my availability for a phone screen. But HR is not responding after me after the initial email. I sent a couple of follow-ups two-weeks apart, still no response. 12 YOE, 230K TC.

I’ve got an upcoming phone screen with an apple hiring manager. Recruiter said there is ‘nothing to prepare’ for regarding the interview - did not even say whether there would be a coding element to it or whether I should be near a computer to code stuff up. How can this be? I’ve never heard of a FANG phone screen without a coding element.

Once an apple recruiter had told me, that apple is 'deeply' interested in me. I am a core windows guy, so I asked her, what she saw that made her and others in apple 'deeply' interested. I have never even owned or operated a Mac. Anyway, I said, I need to talk to the hiring manager before I even proceed. I also told her, I had another offer almost finalised, it was true. She emailed back in a few hours that the manager is interested I speaking to me, but can only do so after 17 days, that is the only open slot in his calendar 8-)8-)
