Apple ICT4
I cleared the ICT4 interview at Apple (IS&T) for Bay Area. The recruiter gave me the initial number, which is about the 300-320K range. I told her that I have a competing offer which is about 400K. She told Apple will not be able to beat that offer. How high do you guys think that Apple can go for ICT4? TC: not worth mentioning YOE: 13 #tech #apple
I got offered 486k total few weeks ago. Turned it down for a even better offer and I don’t want to go back to office everyday. Your offer is definitely a lowball for ict4. My offer details below Team: iCloud in Seattle Base: 210k Bonus: 10% Stock: 700k over 4 years Sign on: 80k first year and 60k second year. They only will negotiate against a google offer and I had that. The recruiter laughed when I said I have offers from Airbnb, Uber, Reddit etc
Why go for apple if they can’t match?
Everything at Apple is org-dependent. IS&T does not have the same budget as AIML for example. TC variance can be ~200K even for same level
I have never heard of SDI. What is the parent org? Eg IS&S, IS&T, SWE, AIML, Ops etc

Before you get co*ky and ask 500 based on blind feedback, what org is it? Everything at Apple is org based .. also role matters.. all those high numbers others quoted have strong completing offers.

For IS&T, that's standard ICT4, and even on the high level. Don't pay too much attention to people that mention numbers without mentioning org, the org makes a big difference, and the role too. But IS&T doesn't pay top of the band like other orgs.
Is the 400k a good offer with real stock?
I think so.
it's good offer, just take it and join apple after which you can target half a millon in couple of year by jumping outside
