Rahul Gandhi is poison but the people who believe in him are a lot worse
Hi planning to join Apple Seattle office soon, wondering about any commuter options like shuttles, scoop, ride share benefits or at-least parking in office. The office on dexter seems to have garage parking, is it free or how much are they charging ? Would appreciate if people can comment on any other benefits for Seattle office. TC 300k (Apple) Current TC 200 and crashing !
I am interested to know as well. Where are you commuting from? East side?
North !
Just get an Ocra pass. Most if not all Tech Employers provide one. Plus most that take the morning bus are mostly workers. In addition, you don't have to worry about traffic, finding parking and less cost.
Apple parking in seattle is out of your pocket but hey! It will be with pre-tax money. Feeling more like taking the bus? U can get a subsidized orca card
I’d suggest asking your recruiter for the details you care about. There are several shuttles from surrounding areas and they’ll give $100 per month to spend on public transit (not ride shares) or $20 per month to spend on biking related expenditures (new bike, maintenance, etc). Apparently the wild difference between the two is due to some outdated federal tax law Seattle apparently does not allow them to subsidize parking, so you have to pay $22 out of pocket per day to park. I forget what the monthly cost is if you’re planning on driving everyday
Employers can subsidize parking. Stripe gives $135/mo toward any combo of parking and transit
Thanks for the response @pewter. Is there any website for shuttles ? Is it internal only or I can look it up as well ?
