Apple System EE onsite interview feedback
#hardware #apple I had an onsite for system EE role at Apple. The interview was on last Friday 3/24. The HM and recruiter said it’s within a new team. I haven’t heard anything back yet. What is normal turn around time for interview feedback in current environment considering this will be brand new team. TC 0 laid off from Google Google TC 435k
Did you disclose you were laid off?
No. Does this info matter in speed of hiring decision or compensation?

Finally I got hold of recruiter. He says I have strong hire by 5 interviewers and neutral by 3. According to him, the manager decides which way to respond. Is this true? I’m guessing this can be preparation for Reject or coming with Low ball offer if it’s move to offer stage. Any comments?

They take a very long time. 2 weeks is standard. And worse if they reject you, often they won’t tell you also. Just don’t expect a reply and keep the search on.

It has nothing to do with ongoing market. I joined in the hot market and interview-offer time period was around 1 month. I guess they just don't move fast with hiring.
