Why is Apple and Google trying so hard to kill 3rd party cookies and idfa? I know they say it's about user privacy. But I can't really understand why people think its bad to have targeted ads in exchange for free content online. Would we rather pay a subscription to every site we frequent? I'm honestly looking for differing opinions. Please enlighten me.
Average people don't understand they're paying with their data for all the free things on the internet. I think it's a good thing to make it obvious what you're paying for
