I had a virtual onsite last week with apple. Following the onsite, the recruiter said he had received good reviews and scheduled a final round of interview. What should I expect for this final round? Technical/Bh? #hardware #apple #interview
Why leaving for Apple?
Because TC
Lol. Microsoft pays really good too. Only difference is Apple gives more refreshers than Microsoft.
My final round was with a senior director and senior manager. They might ask a few questions about your background and how you like to work, why you want to work for Apple. I think they expect you to be able to answer these questions smoothly and have good questions for them about the job. Don’t sweat it.
How long did it take to hear back after this final round with the sr director?
Can you speak on the interview process, what team this was for and how long it took?
Must be a behavioral round.
Most likely, they want to confirm something further to give offer. Thus should not be that technical since that part has been done during onsite. Just my 2 cents
Was mostly behavioral for me, except Senior Director who really loved to dig into the technical things a lot lol
Like really dig into the technical details of the projects on your resume? Curious what exactly you mean
See knowledge A on resume —> explained to me how that’s a welcome skill to have for the job then proceed roasting me on that through technical questions. Rinse and repeat for following ones that were deemed of interest for the job.
Could you share how the initial interview was? How did you prepare for it?
Could you please share how many interviews did you go through?
1. Generic Recruiter - check you speak English 2. Technical recruiter - check resumes fits job description 3. Hiring manager 4. Panel interview - 8-10 people in one day. Each person is 45 minutes chat. 5. VP or director- check culture fit with personality. Usually strict 30 minutes.
Thanks a lot. I was wondering how the panel interview happening this time. Full one day virtual meeting or is it spread over several days?
How many rounds of interview did you appear for ? And what exactly was the role ? PD/Timing ?
Role, yoe?
