How can transferring to partner airlines be worth more than buying tickets on the chase rewards store directly?
You buy a flight ticket wort x with y points. Divide x by y and it can be better
Never ever buy electronics or other stuff using points is my rule! You always end up spending more!
Unless you find some discounts somewhere else otherwise 25% discount with Apple products are smarter move

It’s terrible advice. Every credit card blog says to use points for travel. GTFO if you aren’t sharing TC. It’s literally the only rule we have here.

Used it on an apple watch last year. Took like three months to arrive. Not sure if this is the case every time but remember to read the fine print before ordering
Agreed, this is terrible advice. Never use chase points on anything but travel which is 50% bonus with the Chase Reserve card. Terrible use of points. He literally copy-pasted an email ad from Chase.
I flew from US to Lima->Cusco Peru round trip by transferring miles to AA in 2019. For what you’d suggest some AirPods - my 4 friend group took $1500 flights (first class lie-flats). Just 30 minutes skimming airline blogs tells you transferring can get you outsized returns. Stop copy-pasting email ads to Blind. Also TC or gtfo.
