It's been a year since I joined Apple (SEG org). I think I was low-balled but I did not have an option when I accepted the role. (YOE 6, ICT3, TC 168K base-130 rsu-72/4years joining-20). I'm having my first performance review and I want to know what are my chances of getting a significant hike/refresher. (Not bragging) I'm more skilled than my team members and I have done exceptionally well in the past year. I have worked my a** off and I'm expecting a great review feedback but I'm not confident about promotion/hike as there are other members in similar level in my team. What should I do ?

I'm also in very similar boat, is it possible to negotiate promotion and RSU/salary hike with manager ? If so when is the best time to talk ? I feel if talked during performance review they would have finalized the hike and other stuff and it would be too late or still manager has power to pull strings ? Anyone has any experience in negotiating with manager

If your team does daily standups, your manager is a micromanager
Strange that people advice you to negotiate with empty hand! What is your exit option then?! While you don’t still have another offer, it would be an icredible strategy in a negotiation game and your manager knows that you have no option but to stay with the same salary! Unless you believe these monsters have fairness!
