Apple supplier Foxconn pulls out of $19.5 billion India chip project https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/10/apple-supplier-foxconn-pulls-out-of-19point5-billion-india-chip-project.html
Foxconn is known for ambitious projects and bailing out. Anyone remember the huge plant they were gonna open in Wisconsin?
They are still going ahead with two other locations. This particular one was controversial due to alleged govt involvement in shifting to another state from its original destination.
Modi hai toh
They did this shit in Wisconsin too
Foxconn was interested in investment in MH since it has better infrastructure, Human Capital, Modi strong armed them to invest in GJ. I strongly believe thats the important reason for them to pull out.
Seems like you are good at creating rumors and fake news. Do you do this for free or you get paid?
Bhakt spotted !
India govt is the reason
Foxconn... name checks out. Fox and con.
Now bhakths will say " send foxcon to Pakistan"
Why would they say that? Please explain.
Apparently a deal for 28nm and 40nm fabs? Not cutting edge, but popular for electromechanical stuff like military and cars. The newest nodes often aren't great for analog electronics, from what I hear. Seems like one of India's projects for shoring up national supply chain and national security. Wouldn't be surprised if Modi scared em off.

Thank you for this. Hate how a single misleading article can cause a 2% dip.
Lmao yeah great clarification. “Everything is fine, nothing to see here”
