Applied Materials Operations Manager comp?

My friend (newly transitioning 20 year Army vet) is interviewing with Applied Materials in Austin for an Operations Manager role. They told him he qualifies level 1 or 2 but will let him know more at the end of process. Can anyone share comp range for this job? The difference between 1 and 2?
