Applied through the website and no response. Try referral?
Recently applied to Wayfair and Stripe via their website, no response. Is it worth it to get a referral and try again in a month or two? Or should I assume the same result?

Another question, has anyone had luck with a referral after not getting a callback when applying via the website?
FWIW: I had a referral at Facebook a year ago and it was an instant reject. I decided to do a cold application a few weeks ago and now I had a recruiter contacting me.
Interesting. I think it makes a difference who is looking at it more than the method used.
