There’s been a lot of uproar online about how terrible Workday’s UX is. However, nothing will change. Companies will not stop using Workday; they simply don’t care. Everybody has know Workday has had a terrible experience for a long time. Nothing’s been done.
It’s not exactly terrible. It’s meant to be challenging for applicants. Large companies probably have thousands of applicants per minute and they need to slow down the rate of application in some way. Either by adding friction and hurdles, making it hard to use, or just generally requiring more effort. A fast streamlined UX will absolutely flood the ATS with resumes
I don’t think so, it’s just old fashioned. There’s actually a way to have workday not ask for your experience in addition to your resume, I’ve applied to a few jobs that set it that way
I’m not looking for a job, but when I was, Lever was my favourite way to apply.
Lever and greenhouse are the best
