I’ve sent a ton of apps to Twitter, many with referrals. I’ve heard back from Google, Facebook, Uber, Amazon, Dropbox, and Lyft, but I have never even gotten past the resume screening at Twitter. Kinda strange? Anyone might have ideas? I love the idea of working with something of the size and scale of Twitter. 2.5 YOE.
Same with me for Twitter and lyft even after numerous applications ... others reached out to me
Microsoft and Twitter have never reached out to me, even after referrals. The entire hiring process is just random.
Same here, heard back from: Square, Apple, Robinhood, Databricks, Dropbox, Uber, Roblox, etc. But I applied to like 3 Twitter positions and haven't heard back from them. Currently applying from Seattle with 3.5 yoe
Hard to tell without seeing the resume and knowing the teams you applied to.
Do you need to have a really good match? I.e. you also have the bonus or desired skills as well as the minimum requirements? I felt like I was a reasonably strong match for 70% of my apps.
Roles are per team, resumes go through that teams recruiting coordinator for initial review and screening, and in some cases the teams EM. But basically it depends on the team you are applying for for what they are looking for and the strength of the other applicants; we do get a lot of applicants. Share your resume if you want feedback.
Yeah same. Applied to Twitter via referral and never heard back.

Screw it. Don't care anymore. Let Israel take it. One state solution.
I have never heard back from the above companies you mentioned but have an onsite at Twitter soon. This is so fucking weird
Really? Even Amazon? Amazon is being spooky desperate. I didn’t even have a code screen and they’re giving me an on-site.
You had a referral?
