Applying using WorkDay is a PITA

For who? If that’s a way of filtering applicants, that’s a terrible approach.
So many complaints here about the Workday application process. I'm an end user/product owner and I think I should help people clarify. This is to do with ownership of data and privacy. Workday is not LinkedIn. Every customer holds and controls your data specifically in their own tenant. They are responsible for managing and protecting it. If you apply to Zendesk, we are the ones who look after it and are the data controller. Recruitment is just a tiny part of the full Workday package. It's the tip of an iceberg in a product that manages a big chunk of a companies business. Also the alternatives like Oracle are way worse.
We understand that it’s for multi tenancy and looking at it from company centric. Also this is just a fraction of all the data that workday manages for their customers. This was working, say couple of years before. But look at other products and how easy the application process is. I am just saying it should be about time they rethink this and make it applicant centric rather than company centric. And btw, remove the registration process ;)
Workday is set up and configured by each customer. Hiring managers don’t care if the process is easy or applicant friendly. They already get flooded with applications for each posting. Sometimes 10k or more applications within the first hour the job goes live.

I think it’s easy after you register, it allows u to apply for multiple position without refilling info.
Same with any other job portal that’s applicant centric
These companies are using Workday as a means for you to apply to them.
I hope u guys understand it is company to which u applying controls this and not Workday. U don’t want Amazon to know if u are applying to Meta and vice versa.
