No, for ITAR green card is enough. in fact even on visa you can get itar clearance

Yes many people are here on green card. It's not a problem unless you need clearance which is a single digit percentage of the company.

Yes you can. Even as a citizen of Iran, Syria, Cuba, … as long as you are green card holder you are US person
