Are HFTs hiring more now after layoffs ?
I am repeatedly bombarded with inmails from LinkedIn recruiters regarding HFT jobs in Citadel, HRT, etc. Was this always the case or only happening due to the Tech layoffs?
I too am getting mails from hft recruiters but they are unwilling to tell me the name on LinkedIn chat , asking me to set up a call I don’t intend to switch so I refuse to chat with them but I can’t understand why they are so secretive
Because they can’t get commissions if you directly apply to these companies
They have clauses in their contracts that they can’t disclose the name until they’ve verified legit interest and a phone call does that. Or something like that, at least that’s what I was told.
