Do they not go against 4th amendment? Or do the agents get a warrant for every person they check?
How did we get to this point where you have to ask a question like that. Yes it’s constitutional to enforce laws. It’s required by the constitution actually
The law must be enforced in a legal way though
Yes, that goes without saying
Yep, first rule of law. Those who are violating the law is instantly the bad guy. No gray area.
sometimes good guys have to be bad guys to beat bad guys.

ICE shittroopers cannot enter your home. Warrants needed. What to do if they show up? https://www.acluaz.org/en/know-your-rights-if-ice-agents-show-your-door At work: https://www.nilc.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/EmployerGuide-NELP-NILC-2017-07.pdf You can find some other resources there: . https://www.immigrantdefenseproject.org/raids-toolkit/ . https://www.nilc.org/get-involved/community-education-resources/know-your-rights/raids/
Ok, so they can't enter homes without permission or warrant, that makes sense. What about public places, can they just stop and question anyone they want? What would their probable cause be?
No. Treat this case as if it was police interrogating you: - do not answer questions - repeat « am I being detained? Am I free to go? - as long as they don t say that you are being detained arrested, keep asking the same questions - if arrested, do not speak; ask for uour lawyer Get informed and prepared. Get advice from non profits such as ACLU etc.
Amendments are for CITIZENS. Thank you.
See 14th amendment
@Facebook you think this guy has ever read the constitution? 😂
What can I do to help ICE?
Report your neighbor Then they will come for you
1) Report neighbor 2) They come back, high five and have beers on the deck Got it
When I think of enjoying intelligent public policy discussion, a bunch of software engineers on Blind is not typically at the top of my list.
Well go on and enlighten us then. Love to talk political philosophy
Judging by your comments above, it wouldn't even be remotely worth my time.
Yes, the raids are constitutional and necessary. The people being deported are in the country illegally, have been ordered to leave after due process, and in some cases even have criminal records. Why should they stay? Convince us.
Do they have warrants? That’s the constitutional issue, they can’t just pick them up on the street and check later
Yes they have warrants. Its not hard to get when the same people have been asked to leave repeatedly

They typically have a warrant so that they aren’t violating the constitution.

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Haha, ICE is part of the DHS system. They have no knock warrants in hand at the time they do raids. They can detain anyone and ask for identification. Keep in mind constitutional protections only apply to US citizens.
Constitutional protection applies to anyone on US soil. Not just citizens.
This is not a traffic stop, this is a federal agency coming into a business and asking everyone for ID and having the business provided employment data for each employee. Or coming into an areas that has has known criminal elements, instantly gives them Probable cause. I believe Federal enforcement can hold you for 24 hours without having to charge you or provide anything. Keep in mind you can be under suspicion of harboring or an accomplice for just being present.
