Will be moving to Seattle soon, just getting an idea of where I should be scouting apartments. Are there still people working in Bellevue still or is everyone in Seattle now? TC: 180K
Depends on what you want Safety, better apartments for less money, good restaurants, clean parks, bike trials etc - east side Proximity to bars, downtown, crime - seattle downtown/belltown areas
Thank you
I live in Queen Anne and love it! Moving to Expedia in august!
East side is only good if you’re starting a family imo. Seattle is more exciting
Thank you. Still single in my 20s so yeah I’m thinking Seattle.
Downtown/belltown is great I just moved here two months ago
Nice! That’s where I’ve been kind of looking. Good to hear, thank you.
That’s a great area! I’ve been here 3 years and technically live in Queen Anne but walk to bell town all the time. Seattle definitely is not unsafe. I’m a woman and never had an issue. Especially compared to major cities in US there is hardly any crime.
Queen Anne / Magnolia are good and right next to campus. I would avoid anything south of Ranier Ave if you’re opting for Seattle proper. Eastside is fine if you’re looking for safety and quiet but there is no nightlife and not as many folks in their 20s / 30s except for those with families.
Thank you!
Seattle is a garbage heap
Okay
