Are any online MS in CS programs respectable/worth it?

I'm interested in a MS in CS but are online programs respected? I know Georgia Tech has a program I've heard good things about but I'm not sure this is worth my time. What are your thoughts?

You can look into UIUC as well. Don't know anyone who is pursuing that but you can check it out

Also omscs is not expensive also but it is tough course you need to put 20-30 hrs weekly apart from office work and also it has great courses like machine learni g for trading or ai gor robotics etc.

Respect doesn't buy bread. Leetcode does.

I did the Machine Learning specialization in the OMSCS program. I think it's an excellent program. It was challenging and I learned a ton. For background I have 5 yoe as a software engineer. I also just recently got an offer at Google so the big tech companies must like degrees from Gatech! When I graduated their program was ranked the #1 best online CS grad program, #8 best CS grad program overall and #4 best Machine Learning grad program.

I’m joining GA tech this Fall. May I ask did you get Google offer before you getting into GA tech or after? Thanks.

I went through Amazon's interview process half way through OMSCS. They said I did well, but passed on me saying that they wanted me to finish my graduate degree first. They said they would reach out to me again when I graduated. The same month I graduated, Amazon and Google both reached out to me. I turned down Amazon because they only had Seattle positions open this time, which I wasn't interested in. I went for Google and got lucky. I did a ton of Leetcode practice, but I think having graduate algorithms and ML course work fresh in my mind helped enormously.

Ditto the Ga tech MS. But beware most online master CS programs except Columbia are terminal i.e. you can’t move on to Ph.D.

From gatech i heard people getting into phd now.

You mean students are transferring to a PhD program after OMSCS or Gatech is starting an online PhD program? I have been hoping for a reputable online PhD in CS to come out, but I didn't think that was ever going to happen.
