Do Tesla, SpaceX, SolarCity, Boring company etc all work on always in office and no remote/hybrid mode? TC - 300k
60+ hours is common in his companies
I think its 40 in office n 40 remote with overtime as required, hybrid in a way.
They have a hybrid approach. You work 40h+ in the office, then another 20h plus at home. (You can work weekends and evenings from home.) Same as Amazon. We've been the trailblazer in hybrid work long before Covid! We've always allowed people to work from home on the weekends!
Get ready Bay Area folks.. All those Tracy, Sacramento, Mountain house homes which were selling like hot cakes in 2020 will now start creeping into the market slowly since 5 day work week becomes normal for many and you are hit in face with the traffic snarls everyday.
40 is just on paper…. Most of the weeks are >60
I’ve spent 100hrs week and still felt guilty didn’t work enough
Username checks out. Not!
100hr weeks… yeah not working may be watching others work?
If you really work hard, you won't feel anything. I feel I only work 2 hours a week, though my time sheet says 120 or something. Who doesn't love working?
55-60ish, “mandatory in office” (so like, go in to the office for the normal hours, but get your stuff done wherever). Also, it’s not like there’s a chain at your desk to lock you there. If you have life stuff going on most managers are reasonable.
8 hours a day for me and usually remote Friday. I get my shit done tho.
