I personally think they are and seems like investors are catching on: - Sundar is getting pressed by investors on Waymo losses - Aurora is approaching penny stock status - Argo -Uber sold ATG - Tesla FSD is basically a large scale consumer fraud in plain sight. Now that their stock isn’t making Wall Street tons of money I expect Tesla to get hammered by gov and non gov consumer rights and safety orgs and more consumer lawsuits Am I missing anything? Please tell me if you think I’m wrong 🫡
FSD is actually a great piece of business if you forgive the false advertising. There’s nothing like it in the market. If Tesla reduce the cost to $5k adoption will be massive.
If by great piece of business you mean getting people’s money then yeah. I’m sure even more people would be duped if it was cheaper
Clearly a lot of people pay big bucks for the beta and enjoy it. Like I said, there’s no equivalence in the market. Waymo is not accessible to consumers.
Tesla and Elon are the biggest over hyped scams in the entire universe
That is a bit too much to say about someone who disrupted multiple industries in a short time
There’s a big gulf between scam and overpromising
Cruise and Waymo have self driving cars serving real people in multiple cities
L5 FSD 2031
2131 maybe
Vaporware assumes it's a product that people want. No one wants actual self driving cars, which pretty much will always suck
I want them
That is kind of absurd. A lot of people want self-driving cars.
lol clearly you are not following the industry.. Waymo and Cruise already have self driving cars. Tesla is vapoware.
Lol. A very limited deployment. My robot vacuum can navigate my house but doesn’t mean it’s ready to navigate the world
Can they scale profitably? They also take twice as long as human drivers. I’d choose a more expensive Uber if it saves me time.
Have you ever tried the FSD on highway?
😂 we’ve been fusioning nuclei since Edward teller created the first h bomb. We are no where close to producing electricity with commercial fusion power. Not in another 6 decades. The fact that you think that tells me you drink the headline koolaid. Self driving cars not in many decades either.
Sir would you be interested in a bridge perhaps
I don’t see the point of self driving cars, to be honest. What actual problems are they solving?
Supposed to be cheaper uber/Lyft. I would be more willing to sell my second car and use uber/Lyft if costs come down to $1/ mile. Would love a $12-$15 ride to airport WITHOUT expectation of tips
@zillow - sounds so first world problem-ish. I really think that the effort put into self driving technology would be much better spent in figuring out low energy alternatives to cars as we know them.

How is FSD fraud?
LOL. I don’t care about Elon. But the fact is that Tesla FSD is not actually “full self driving”. It’s misleading - how can you not see that?
Does any of the AV company has enough funding to survive couple of decades?
