When people discuss fraudulent ballots, there is left vs. right, red vs. blue. But when it comes to Congress grilling tech companies, the most sound bite I hear are from the Republicans. Sure, POTUS and his family have expressed more controversial opinion, but it is peculiar the censorship has been overwhelming favor the left during this election. I can assume the social media CEO's personal value are more aligned with Democrats, but I believe they should combat that bias to ensure their product nonpartisan.

The media blamed Facebook and Twitter for the outcome of the 2016 elections and it resulted in a huge backlash. They are doing this kind of pseudo-censorship to try to prevent that narrative from forming that time.
And it's not like media was wrong. FB and twitter were used to spread a lot of fake news which might have effected the election. Propaganda is how US used to bring down govt in other countries. Now it's happening in US. This is done by both disenginous americans , and by other countries.
Compared to partisan cable news, FB and twitter "fake news" is marginal
If the president lies, I don't think twitter is wrong to censor it. And it's not like they're even stopping people from reading it if they want to read it; they're just putting a warning message first
A warning is enough to give a bias.
Is it biased to call a lie a lie?
What censorship exactly? You mean Twitter flagging when trump says something that is objectively false?
How do you know it is obviously false?
Because of your own research.
The only election interference in this country is from the mainstream media purposefully, and unapologetically pummeling the citizens of this country with biased, negative coverage of the President for four years while ignoring sweeping successes for this country and burying any wrongdoing of the Democrat party. Touting polling data to project landslide victories for Democrats in order to discourage Republican voters from going to the polls is the election interference.
Sweeping successes? Our allies donât trust us. He hurt farmers with his BS trade war with China and then used our money to bail them out. Half his group of yahoos has been convicted of something, yet somehow itâs everyone else whoâs the âswampâ. Heâs provided no leadership during this pandemic and has encouraged unsafe behavior. Trump is a genuine embarrassment to this country who has done dick-all for 4 years except whine, make himself money on the tax payerâs dime, and pass a tax cut. All that said, Kroger Clicklist is great! đ
Defeating the opposition's morale is the fastest way to win, yep.
âCensorshipâ meaning they flag things that are blatantly untrue in an effort to better inform people? Not the most balanced poll youâve got there. Where are the options for âcensorship favors the rightâ or âthere is no censorshipâ?
No one debate if there is censorship. Its a matter if people think its biased or right or wrong etc. There is obviously censorship
Right is spreading misinformation and left is tweeting memes, who do you think will be censored?
Poll is biased. Missing: favors left and should be challenged.
Free Speech is not required on Social Media. Social Media is not Free Speech. Itâs corny already. âStupidityâ is a disease that is affecting conservatives increasingly. And itâs slowly overwhelming the blue team. This needs to stop.
Yeah personal attacks on ones intelligence is not an effective debate tactic. This needs needs to stop.
I wonder if thereâs anything to the fact that conservatives are more prone to be religious and the core of religion is believing in something without proof. If a core aspect of your life requires you to believe something without proof, itâs less of a hurdle to believe other things without proof as well.
