I feel like the quality of education has really gone down here. I especially feel that my kids quality of life and the current education system are not connected. How many others feel the same way?
What does quality of life mean to you? Some kids in the Bay Area will grow up socially repressed with excellent academics Some kids in Texas will grow up with good-to-great academics and the best athletics in the country What does quality of life mean to you?
Their ability to provide a quality life for themselves.
That doesn’t answer my question But I think I get what you mean, and you won’t be getting it in the Bay Area.
Can always go back to India 👋
Your parents said the same thing to you!!! You are becoming your parent
OP wants to let others raise their kids and then act concerned about what they're learning
Capital one. You're a complete idiot.
Not at all. Public schools are a joke. They're basically controlled by teacher unions and have been perverted into a taxpayer funded welfare program for lazy asses with a masters in education instead of something useful.
What a horrendous take lol. Where would you be with zero teachers in your life?
My position is not no teachers. It's the complete privatization of general education and abolishing teachers' unions. The data is crystal clear, private schools have vastly better quality and outcomes.
As long as they don’t tell our kids: “you can decide if you want to be a boy or a girl”, I’m ok with everything else.
OP where are you located? Bay Area? Kids are in public or private? Which school district if public?
Aging effect. Immediately hit the gym, get a mistress, do something! You are turning into your dad!!!
I think it is ironic that Bay and Seattle have much higher percentage of academically competitive kids now than before when the social justice and fairness are stronger in these regions that result in lowered academic standards.
What's their LC count?
