Arista Network , Pune vs Oracle Cerner
Hello All , Total yoe 5.5 years . Arista Network tc : Base 37 , stocks 4 lpa , joining bonus , 4 lakh Tc : 45 Oracle Cerner : Currently base 39 , stocks 4 lpa , joining bonus 4 lakh Tc : 47 But the recruiter is asking to take it to 58 lpa majorly improving RSU . I am confused as I have know that Arista is a good company but they are not moving on companesation . And I have no idea on Oracle Cerner quality of work and culture . I came from Cerner before the acquisition. It is a dying company, made worse by Oracle, but it’s stable pay nonetheless. Not worth the small bump in my opinion but you might get lucky and get placed on a good team.
I am not in Cerner's blr office, they aren't being brought into Oracle like NA but will be a subsidiary or something. Guessing it will be a very similar process to what happened here and they will be going through it soon. If it is anything like ours then your offer may get rescinded, may not. You may start and get immediately laid off. You may sit in limbo for 6 mo. You certainly won't have any career advancement outside of the executive suite. I'd go the other offer.
