Heard good things about Asana culture but do people actually enjoy working on those apps? I dread JIRA and Asana
I like the work we do for sure! I dread Jira too but imo Asana is helpful when your org is using is effectively. I used it, Jira, clickup, monday, teamwork, trello, and Wrike before joining asana so I got a good taste of similar platforms. What another commenter said about DoorDash is a dying business though… *stares hard in 10+ year viability for Asana 🥲*
Y’all are gouging customers in NYC now :(
You can thank NYC’s idiot politicians for that one
New verticals is a solid team. Also just compare the stocks.
Asana. Wow, that's a name I haven't heard from in a while. If Green card is an issue, I would avoid any team that slaps ChatGPT onto a product to say "we use advanced AI!". That's the first thing to be cut if things go south because once it's on the marketing sheet, no need for any more investment.
The team is not in the AI org. It is leveraging AI for better workflow adoption.
are any of the two remote?
Asana is definitely not remote but it looks like OP wants office/hybrid
Asana’s compensation bumped to super close to doordash. I decided on asana!!
Why I don't agree with the decision - congrats, good luck, and thanks for the update!
Thanks!!
Asana is more stable. If you need a work visa, you should overindex on stability. DD's Day1 GC doesn't matter you get laid off a year from now.
Good decision OP. Don’t listen to the crowd. Build and sell actual software rather than grocery

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
For this team, it is optional lol. The workflow foundation team is responsible for oncall.
Forget day 1 vs day 100 greencard as a factor. If you’re born in Ind/Chn GC wait is multiple years - 99 days won’t matter. Also a company that waits and files GC is interested in their employees long term. Asana sounds like a much more challenging project with exciting opportunities - also way more transferable skillset. Doordash is meh and a dying business
