I have a crush on a co-worker and I’ve been wondering if I should finally go ahead and do the first move. I can’t really tell if it’s only in my head but I think it’s not. What if I’m missing out? Should I do it?

I suggest just start with something informal. Have coffee at work. Have lunch together. Get to know each other. If there's interest, it will be obvious and then you can ask them out. Don't start by asking them for a "date".

Start with casual lunch saying that u need advice on some work related stuff OR a friend wants to get into a career that she/he is...then determine the interest, the subtle indications, the subtle rise in heartbeat and all...then u can express asking out...
