Aspire to do UI for consumer products

Hi fellow frontend engineers, I have two years of web development experience, mainly using react + typescript. I have general understanding of how things work, but only have actual work experience implementing UI features. Now I have two offers: 1. one is more towards full stack (api for payment services), 2. the other is more UI (building common UI libraries and have possible interesting UI to work on such as maps, 3D animations but it’s 2B). Which one is better for my next step if I want to become a UI developer for 2C products such as Instagram. Could anyone with experience kindly advise?

Instead of endless learning, why not just create? Make some mock-up designs and put together a portfolio like a traditional artist

Right, I will. Though I am not pursuing UX path though, no much artistic skills either. I just love to implement those designs.

if you enjoy FE work just double down on that. many companies hire specialized FE engineers
