Aurora vs Magic leap offer
I have received offers from Magic leap and Aurora. I have 3 YOE, Masters degree in Machine Learning Magic Leap offer(Senior Software Engineer) : base 180k TC + 20k sign on(after hard negotiation) Aurora offer(Software Engineer): base 180k + no-sign on Which do you think I should consider as I am more interested in Augmented Reality than Self driving domains as I previously worked in self driving startup but at the same time worried about the stability. #magicleap #aurora #waymo #facebook #apple

Aurora, they are doing good work in self driving. Working silently but have made decent progress. Though you can negotiate for a joining bonus, I know a few people who have been offered 10-25k joining bonus. Magic leap doesn't sound like a safe bet given the layoffs. Since you are interested in AR, I am assuming this is a vision/SLAM role both of which I have heard good reviews of. Also mention your yoe

@OP You are at a good place and whatever you choose next, it would be a good place as long as you put in effort. I personally would think that you'll have more opportunities to grow at your career if you join MagicLeap. AR is re-inventing everything that PC's/smartphones could do. The other option that you have is like just one big thing.
