Can anyone share the salary of Spotify developer in Sweden ? How does the 6 months **full paid** maternity leave works? I got a baby that born before I join Spotify (now is < 3 years old), does this policy still apply to me? Any caveats of this policy?
Maternity leave won't be retrospective. You will qualify for one for the next baby if you are planning to have one later. By simple maths: = (57K-37K) *6/12SEK 20K*6/12 = 10KSEK difference which is considerable amount.
What is 12 from "6/12" ? If 12 is 12 months, why?
The difference of Paid leave for 6 months divided over 12 months to calculate monthly extra you are getting over 57K monthly, only if you are planning to have a baby this year and taking the leave and also your 80% information is correct. If you plan to take in next two years, it would be divided by 24. By the way please confirm with HR if you qualify for full paid maternity leave in next year or two. Usually one needs to be employed for at least a year to qualify for it. And there are certain considerations of window around due dates.
They wanted to interview me. I asked if the tc is comparable to usa market, then was rejected immediately lol
Like you are telling the full story... no serious organisation in Sweden would reject anyone because you asking for salary level.
Just ask HR. Why do you thin you will get help in fucked community everyone whines about nearly everything?! Ah!? GO TO HR!!!!! Don’t be an ashole
Wow wow, calm down smart ... I know it’s winter and some people get deppressed. You know, I think you are right, will ask HR to provide me the salary list of the employees tomorrow. Cheers 🍺
I don’t think the 6 months maternity leave is a Spotify specific thing - isn’t it Swedish law that applies to all companies? https://www.forsakringskassan.se/privatpers/foralder/nar_barnet_ar_fott/foraldrapenning/!ut/p/z0/fYxNC4JAEIZ_jedZo-wsGn0dIqSyvchUo2zJ7Do7SD8_Cbp2e16elwcs1GAZR9ehOs_YT_tqs2a-KYt0XZj9YVGVJs-2x_RcrWandAkVMezA_j9NFfccBpuDvXtWeivUX2CN1AjF4Dm6kRITxI2ogSQmpvWC_YMkMYzS3FCYtJmo9ao_KxiI2XEH4bW-fAAGJLH0/
Answer to your question is at the FAQ at the bottom of the page, 3rd question from bottom.
Maternity leave based on Swedish law only pay 80% up to SEK 37 917, not 100% of your salary. So with or without "full paid" makes a huge different.
