I’m just going to say it. Everyone complained about the former Sr Director of TA but this new VP is worse. She was rumored to be the third pick and is extremely unprofessional. Her team of merry bandits or as she states her “directs” were not chosen by performance or experience but instead who could worship her in the most pleasing way. AA has a history of lying promising people jobs that don’t exist, retaliation and gaslighting. Don’t get me wrong she was probably ordered to do away with 50% of TA but how she did it was questionable. Former IC’s are now directors and Sr. managers and they let go of performing managers to promote L5’s to replace them. Has any of this showed up in workday or birdhouse? Did anyone make any more money due to their promo’s ? Was this announced in the regular promo announcements alongside HR? Were any of these jobs posted for equitable consideration? NOPE. She was fired from Verizon for the same type of behavior and is actively looking for another job right now. So those who were promoted by selling out your peers watch out. Those same people you kicked are going to be the people you need for your next opportunity. At least 2 leaders found out the hard way in the most recent layoff. #recruiting #Twitterlayoff
I swear…Twitter TA gives me more tea/drama than the Wendy Williams show.
Every bit of this is true. AA listens to whoever is the loudest in the room regardless of their experience or qualifications. There is no data used to make any type of informed decision or build a sustainable strategy. AA is fostering an environment where the only way to survive is to be in the cool kids club. Don’t get comfy though. Just because you’re in the club one day doesn’t mean you’ll stay there. One wrong question and you are toast. The fact that several individuals received fake promos and are now taking on more work without the pay or title is the biggest red flag I’ve ever seen.

Considering that she led a meeting reading the manifesto of a white Google male employee complaining about brown people and white women taking his job opportunities away and declared THEY ARE ASKING FOR OUR HELP LETS HELP THEM and has REDUCE the entire diversity process at Twitter to as much we will let you claim her in your non diverse utopia.
Does she deliver results?
The short answer is no.
Not yet. Actually no one promoted by her has delivered as of yet. The team before the hiring freeze was woefully behind pace overall. Just getting our reorg communicated took an entire half. Come think of it, has anything she’s launched worked or been done successfully? I’m asking bc I haven’t seen it.
