Msft throws around a growth percentage every quarter and not revenue. Seems like azure has a loong way to go before it looks like a respectable #2
Of course it has.
Are echo devices selling? Amazon keeps talking about how well it ranks and grows but never says how many units have been sold.
Bingo. OP, fishing for data?:)
How many prime memberships do you sell anally? (TCAIZ)
Valid points msft peeps.
It has meaningful consumption and spend with fortune 500s. We don't care about small enterprise in the cloud, and that's why AWS will always win on price competition. But AWS doesn't hold a candle in the hybrid cloud space and azure stack is the nail in that coffin
Thanks for your comment. But wasn't azure stack only recently released? Azure stack may well pay off, time will tell.
Microsoft has been licensing on premises servers for decades way before azure stack. It's out bread and butter that Amazon can't touch
And on the SaaS- office, dynamics have solid sales.
Azure has a long way to go. Many of our long term customers have pretty much just about started the process. The potential is amazing.
They recently added BlockChain technology in Azure too, Coco Framework, right ?
Azure very expensive compared to self hosting
Still far from AWS numbers but we are (slowly) closing the gap.
I think the gap is expanding more than speed of light. So u can never close in ?
