Would you invest ? Whats your take on it? Any one following tdoc please share your inputs. Is it safe to buy?
I am thinking to start position at $20. They took a big write down due to acquisition and it will continue to put pressure on profits for long. Good part is that it's business will be less affected even if recession occurs.
Outside Nvidia, Teladoc and Rivian are my biggest position. Positive on both.. especially with Brics+6 start trading in local non USD currency.. Greenback demand will weaken in the rest of the world and flow back to the US. Incoming USD will chase assets class, which is good for growth stocks.. Prior 2 times (corporate tax rate reduction for repatriation during 2019 and increased treasury yields 2023), we suckered money from the rest of the world it was wonderful for stocks. Now, this 3rd time, the rest of the world is ready to push dollars back to the US, inflation will increase, and stocks will again inflate. Obviously, the printed money is still in the system.. Fed can't do anything now unless the government shrinks the balance sheet, which won't happen.

Teladoc app is complete trash, so many bugs. Their development team needs to do better.
Ridiculously cheap labor. Teladoc thinks of engineering as an expense rather than an investment. Executive leadership also treats engineers like fungible tokens. It's backfiring.
Yep, yep they fired all knowledgeable developers and replaced then with South Americans. Sad but I think this company will disappear soon
Teladoc stock is so undervalued. We are doing around 2.6 billion in revenue every year. Our current market cap is little over 3 billion. I think stock price will at least double in a year.
Why they firing if they doing so well, doesn’t make sense. I heard that they fired all contractors because they got a deal with one consultant agency.
It’s replacement of contractors to full time or one service company. It’s for consolidation, ownership and accountability.
Seems like Teladoc missed quarterly earnings expectations
That’s why they fired all contracts and replaced them with Infosys

What is Teladoc’s competitive advantage? I can’t think of one. I invested and lost money in 2020-2021 thinking it was the future. There is also increased competition, healthcare providers can develop their own integrated teleplatforms. Also having remote healthcare is nice, but it is meant to support in person services rather than completely replace entirely. Market cap is way overblown…This is just my 2 cents
Currently they have the highest number of users compared to anyone else
Net profit margin and sales numbers still not there, big in the red despite large number of customers. There might be a quick buy and sell play but not a company worth holding long term
