I finished my 3rd final interview with Bank of America, IT infrastructure organization. The role is officially in Dallas area but I am in Austin and made clear that relocation was off the table during initial call with hiring manager. Recruiting called me day after final interview to ask salary expectations, etc. and also discuss location. Couple questions: - Does anyone at BofA currently work remotely on an official basis? - Should they arrange a remote or Austin office location, how long does an offer take to come through? #tech #BofA #BankofAmerica #remote
For everyone? Even people that aren't at a main campus?
Yeah it definitely feels like they are playing games. Is this role remote or not? They can't give a straight answer.
Any updates on your offer?
I am not the OP but I finally got the offer letter. They said it prolonged due to covid rules conflicts between B of A and my state. I ultimately turned down the offer due to terrible insurance. Anthem.

I can't answer your questions but I am in the same boat as you. I have no interest going into the office especially if my colleagues aren't even in my state. I am looking at an Infrastructure role as well. It's been two weeks waiting for the written offer. It will be interesting what it says if I am remote or not. Considering rejecting if the offer letter says come into office.
Doubt they will add remote in offer
Sounds like we might be ghosted. Unless someone has experience waiting this long to either receive an offer or rejection letter.
