Bank of America taking too long for job offer
Why Bank of America is taking too long for extending job offers? I gave interview two weeks ago for contract position. Team and manager has liked me and given verbal offer. But my recruiter said offer is waiting for approval from HR. HR is taking too long. Why is it like that in BOFA now? Are they going for hiring freeze ? #bankofamerica

Depends on the role / division. We are still under a general hiring freeze. However, my department just started sourcing candidates even though the head count is not officially budgeted. But we might start hiring soon. That all said, we are very slow.

It’ll come through, just need to wait patiently. Also make sure to check-in weekly. I was in the same situation couple of months ago.
There has been a hiring freeze for 6 months+. It should be lifted relatively soon but everything at the bank takes forever tbh
