Sundar is humble enough to know giant corporations can be destroyed by start ups. ChatGPTs value is clearly demonstrated and is resonating with consumers. They basically gave him the greenlight to bypass some of the AI ethics BS. Gs reaction is correct response. no response because of ego is the wrong response.

Imagine chat AI saying some problematic stuff. OpenAI is probably ok with it. Google has higher risk as a megacorp under scrutiny

We dont care whether we are leading or not as long as our revenue doesnt decrease 🏄♂️ Also we created bard in 2016 but never bothered to release it because the general public was too dumb to use a chatbot. Now chatgpt proved the concept 🤷♂️
