I’m interviewing for a data scientist position this week, and I’m curious what employee benefits are like. Most interested in health coverage (plans, dedictibles, etc.), 401k match levels, and vacation. But if there are any other benefits, or benefit gaps I should know about, I’d love to hear them. And if there is any specific info for employees in Seattle, I’d be very appreciative. Thanks!
Also you’d get 15% discount on Apple products.
25%
Isn’t it 25% for just a single product and 15% for the rest?
no suggestions for you, but instead needed a little help. I have been applying for data scientist position but not getting any call. right now I a swe but received completed a degree in ML and have some experience in it too was wondering if you are currently w data scientist in Microsoft or you making a change
Interested in knowing this as well. What's your background, OP? @synopsis - why not apply for swe instead?
I’m a data scientist at Microsoft. I like my job and my team a LOT. But I am also VERY underpaid. A recruiter from Apple cold contacted me. I didn’t think I’d be interested, but I talked to the managers in two phone screens and loved them. So I’m doing my virtual onsite this week. Not super concerned, because even if I don’t get the job or realize I don’t actually like the sound if the role, I still have an excellent job.
Their stock buy option is amazing
Can you give details about this? Why is it amazing? What are the specifics of it?
Search for Apple ESPP option, basically let you buy the stock for the lowest price of a 6 month period. You can buy up to %15 of your TC I believe.
