I was looking to put about $10k in an IRA in fidelity but not sure what to buy. Any recommendations would be really appreciated. I am not an active investor, so will likely put and let it stay for a long time. Thank you community!
TQQQ SXPL
FXAIX
SPY instead?
Thank you all, such great suggestions. The TQQQ seems like an active stock trade but omg such high returns. I am also considering FLCLX
Just buy and hold, no active stock trading needed. If you're looking at resilience to stock market crash, just look at last year for any stock
most advisors say just stick it in sp500 index fund. its hard for most funds to beat that anyways in the long run. also by long term, I meant like 10 to 20 years. 1 year is barely anything in terms of investment. its hard to guess high returns right now in these financial conditions. for 1 year, prob fang stocks. also if its going in your roth, might as well let it sit on index funds like voo and check it 50 years later.
VTI Also Google advice on it if you are in doubt.
