I have upcoming PM interviews at Google and Meta. I haven't interviewed for years, so I'm not familiar with all the good resources or even the types of interview questions anymore. Anyone could share their recent (L6) interview experience at these companies? What's the best method or resource to prep for those interviews? Edited to include a poll.
I personally really like Product Alliance materials and recommend it to anyone. Their "Breaking the Script" materials were so insightful for any interview! They have a list of recently asked interview questions at specific companies which are great to use for mock interviews. I'd say it definitely played a big role for my Google interview prep and getting my L5 offer.
Read / reread "Cracking the PM interview" to refresh your understanding of the core principles and question types.
Has anyone had success in interviewing for pm L+1? I’d like to interview for L6/L7 pm roles externally as an L5. Is that doable in the current climate?
I was just checking. It’s 750$ for Product Alliance. Is it really worth it guys?
I have done the Google course and I'd say it was very helpful. Compared to most other resources, I found it had a lot of actionable insider info/ tips that I used and I think helped me stand out from other candidates and get the offer eventually
I see. Thanks. I will enroll

The best resources out of these are Product Alliance and Exponent. If you haven't interviewed for a while, I would say it's worth paying for Product Alliance. Besides how to answer specific types of PM interview questions in each round, they have materials that cover what interviewers look for in candidates answers, strategies to stand out from other candidates etc. and other tips and tricks that are quite useful during interviews. Exponent is also good and a lot cheaper but you can find almost all of their best materials for free on YouTube.
