nullish_ Oct 29, 2021I was in the architecture industry. I landed a job about 5 months after finishing the program as a mid level full stack SWE for $115k + stock options at a startup. Some cohortmates got jobs much sooner than I did, but I was doing a lot of freelance dev jobs and wasn’t searching super hard at the time. Less than 1 year into my position, received 20% raise and more stock options due to competency. HR prepared me well, I’d say.
Honestly, I'm doing full stack now but I'm doing it all self taught. No bootcamp Harvard CS50 on Edx Udemy courses by Jonas Schmedtmann on HTML/CSS/JS/Node/MongoDB Projects, projects, projects Princeton Algo 1 & 2 courses Educative.io The Coding Interview Bootcamp by Stephen Grider on Udemy And lots of LC Minimal cost compared to a bootcamp.
