I searched but don’t believe this thread already exists here. Can the women in the community comment about who they consider or have direct experience working for that are the best in terms of equality - opportunities for advancement, female leadership represented, equal pay, non-bro culture etc. Curious about diversity in general - gay/lesbian, different ethnicities, nationalities etc.

Given the huge amount of time and resource Uber have and are putting into equal pay measures and diverse hiring initiatives, joining Uber now would be a great option. Every company has the same problems whether it becomes public or not. Uber is very intensively working on those problems and I believe will be seen as an employer of choice in 2018 for everyone.
Do you have any specifics on these diversity programs? I hear about a lot of them that are supposedly happening in Microsoft in my team and around it, but nothing that's ever actually concrete or feels noticeable/measurable
Most companies might face similar diversity challenges, but if you think every company faces the same C-level and HR fostering and tolerance of sexual harassment, you're fooling yourself.
PP. It recently filled the gender pay gap. Even LGBTQ community has decent support. Not just PP but majority of technology companies in valley are catching up with this trend.
