Which health tech companies, startup or IPO’d, are best for comp? Oscar Health, Athena Health, PillPack, etc?
Don’t go to pillpack they suck
Have you considered Teladoc?
Adding to the list! Thanks for the suggestion
Which one do you think is a growth prospect. All of them would be lower in TC than most tech companies. Why not apply to tech companies trying to break into the healthcare space (ie. healthcare divisions of tech companies)?
Yes this makes a lot of sense and is probably the way to go if I can hack it. I suppose the only issue is, if I wanted to stay strictly in the health domain, the quantity of open positions seems much fewer. Google has Fitbit and health metric data and also Verily and Calico and X (which feel different than Google proper), I’m sure Microsoft and Apple have something too like Apple health/watch, but it seems like Meta has pretty much nothing? Maybe they do but PM roles seem few and far between. Maybe I’ll stick with healthcare startups until a role and offer pop up at FAANGMULA. Can I ask your thoughts on competitive salary/equity comp for a first PM role, but previous exp elsewhere?
Pillpack is owned by Amazon and they'll compensate you like any other PM job at Amazon
Most definitely not Kaiser 😂
Oscar health is pretty competitive with say Apple, but would pay less than Facebook/Amazon(with their new pay bands).
I haven’t heard of any of those lol
