I'm presently in a non-tech role, but have just started taking coursework to learn more about web design and then eventually will learn about Javascript development. I'm not looking for a quick transition into a new career any time soon, but I would like to take on small projects and get reps to build my skills. My plan would be a slow transition so I could do remote project work when 'retired'. What's the best way to do this? GitHub? Side projects? Other resources for taking on side work that I may not know about? TC: $150k #webdesign #javascript

Udemy is great cheap courses that will teach you the fundamentals and create projects as you learn.
I have heard of it. Thank you. What about ways to take on simple, paid, contracted roles?
