Based on: TC, WLB, and culturewhich is the best to work at. Which are remote? Tc: 150k Yoe: 8 #Netflix #apple #youtube #streaming #amazon #tech
Netflix is gonna pay the best, but they're in a bit of turmoil right now. YouTube is Google, so probably has the best WLB, and definitely the best internal mobility. Everyone else will be less good along every axis.
I’m in Prime Video, have good wlb, good pay and good tech stack, dm for referral
What about PV Ads (as TPM). I’m in a streaming company right now as tpm and looking to apply but heard mixed reviews about PV
Thank you by the way you are amazing 🤩
Disney owns Hulu bud
Apple TV - hear me out NFLX - going to garbage trying to raise fees and make sharing harder. Will be bankrupt/acquired soon Disney - crappy stock/not FAANG Amazon - horrible Amazon wlb Roku - joke Peacock - joke Hbo - good content, mediocre company Fubo/Hulu - Applebees of streaming YouTube - no share in streaming market but Google stock, so close second. Joke in streaming world though Apple - good stock growth from other LoBs, increasingly good content (52 Emmy noms), Services is great division
Fubo is a disaster. Terrible culture on the Product side, and the business is dead (see stock price). YouTube (includes YouTube TV) might be the best in terms of overall comp/WLB/Culture. PlayStation is good. NFLX is cutthroat and fosters paranoia. DIS pay is crap. Paramount+ & Pluto TV are on the upswing and ppl seem happy. HBO Max will be in re-org and staff reduction hell for the next few years, morale is shot. Roku ppl seem happy. Prime Video teams seem okay.
Agree, netflix is the absolute worst. They will treat you like you are so lucky to be there
Roku also pays incredibly well, it’s right up there with Netflix. Mostly base, at least that’s what my offer was 85%base as the TC.
