Best way to answer " Why are you looking for a new role" ?

I am going to start actively interviewing, this is my first job change I am attempting and would like to know the best way to answer this question. I have 3 years of experience with the same team. Honestly , I am looking for change because I am bored, hate the role and super frustrated with management. I also like to move the Bay Area and have got few interviews lines up for roles in Bay area companies Can I say that I would like to move to Bay area as a reason to apply ? What is the best way to frame a answer to this question. TC: Business Analyst , Salary Base - 90 k ( yes it sucks )

Tell them exactly what you just said minus frustrated with management. You have worked on the same team and company for 3 years. You're relatively young and want to explore different infrastructure, tech, and company, and say you've also always wanted to move to the Bay Area and experience the tech culture.

You wanna leave Amazon? Have you tried/considered moving about within the company? It’s generally easier and you can broaden your skill set without interruption of pay/benes.

Nothing wrong with being honest. Your career has gone stagnant and to kick start that you want to move to hotbed of tech and find something new and challenging. /end

Tell them that you are not being challenged at your current role. Emphasize on growth and learning. Safe answers with no follow up questions.
