I am looking to have $2M in next 8 years by investing $500k now. That's roughly 20% YoY growth. What stocks or ETFs or something else to invest in? I already have a primary house and a investment rental so don't want to invest in real estate more. I already have sufficient in 401k that I don't want to put more into retirement at 60. Looking to get to $2M by the time I turn 40 so that I can live off 4% ($80k-$100k) returns there on without working for a living.

OP will end up having $2M in debt
short Uber/Lyft, be ready to bank gains before they recover
Planning to but need a plan on what to do with the money
eh, u know how it works?
VOOG
That looks to be a good suggestion. I will use this as a default if nothing else works or may be do 50-50. Thinking!
I don't think VOOG is that good an investment considering returns and net expense ratio. If you want comparable returns with low expense ratio, use VIGAX instead. If you want above average growth returns and don't mind a higher expense ratio, use TRBCX instead. Both these have huge net assets too as compared to voog.
I have a fantastic opportunity. PM me for details and wire it over. I'll put it to good use.
Lol.. send me your bank details. I will wire the money in
you should go ask Warren Buffett for some tips
Lol this question
Vtsax
Thoughts on this vs voog? S&P500 would be a better bet with managed risk right?
Voog has expense ratio of 0.15% vs vtsax has 0.04%. Expense ratio matters if you investing big amount for long duration. Why you think s&p 500 better bet ?
You can get 20% only if you invest in your own business with high margin. The rest is bullshit
Share some tips to get to this state please? There should be rich club or something;)))
Well, get lucky by joining a late stage startup who gives good equity package, and hope they go IPO and stock price doesn't tank before you encash it.
Old one. It is like 0.00001 chance to hit sweet spot.
