Which offer should I take - Docusign or ServiceNow? Same title, similar base salary + bonus, but DocuSign’s has equity when ServiceNow’s doesn’t. DocuSign perhaps a higher risk higher reward when compared to ServiceNow. 2 layoffs so far, figuring out how to shift from growth to profit, etc. ServiceNow more established, no layoffs, good financials, loads of lateral and diagonal movement oppts. DocuSign might be more poised for higher growth %wise, which could accelerate career development and earning potential. Both roles in FP&A. What do you think? #tech #docusign #servicenow #offer #poll #fpa #tc
Don't join DS, they are silently piping ppl
^^
Take the money (equity) and run. Equity is a big part of compensation.
DocuSign is decent but there’s no accelerated growth happening there, they are a mature company and function as one. I’d pick ServiceNow for security if the only thing more positively weighting DS is “potential growth”…you missed that boat
DocuSign is a dumpster fire nowadays. They hired too many Microsoft rejects and those took over most of the middle to higher layers of management. There's nobody to steer the boat and everyone is just trying to milk it while it dies.
Equity grant is a big factor — you could take that risk. Why no equity at $NOW — have they offered higher base and bonus with potential equity award after a year? What is the equity grant at docusign?
Idk, they just said they don’t do equity for this position. I thought it was strange, even asked the recruiter about equity and she said there wasn’t any for this position. Tried negotiating but they wouldn’t budge. They went over the discussed range for base pay which didn’t help in the equity negotiation.
Marginally higher base and bonus at 10% as opposed to 5% from DS. Pay outside of equity virtually the same, distance nowhere near as significant as the equity from DS.
Post the TC for both dude. Wtf
ServiceNow for sure
Why not post the details of each offer to get better advice here?
Folks asking for TC.. it’s basically the same between the two so it doesn’t matter really.. non US too so it’d look like peanuts to Americans haha I’ll post TC when I start in Glassdoor/here etc

this shouldnt be a question. servicenow has come out and said no layoffs for 2023
but no equity as part of compensation
Yea that’s what makes it difficult haha otherwise yes I’d go with servicenow I think. Although idk Docusign is smaller so bigger chance for growth in that regard? Idk
